The Prices for Cave Diving
The cave diving prices are estimated in a different way than the recreational diving ones. That is because of the special characteristics of the gear we use and the variety of the dive sites. It also depends in the gear configuration needs, number of tanks to be used, timing of the dives, guide’s requirements, etc.
However, the price for the performance of cave dives are mainly the professional fees for the technical guide, plus the additional expenses; such as entrance fees to the cenotes, proper transportation, food, tank fills, use of different breathing gases, tank rentals and extra gear rentals, caretaker, etc. Usually these expenses are reasonable, but always variable.
